WATERCOLOR - Part 2 (PLASTIC BAG)

Y aquí les traigo la segunda técnica para lograr esas uñas de acuarela! Súper fáciles de hacer utilizando solamente una bolsita plástica y pintuñas :)

And here's the second technique to make these watercolor nails! Supear easy to make using just a platic bag and some nail polish :)

Empieza como siempre con una base blanca en tus uñas.

Start as always with a white base coat on your nails.

Luego, escoge los colores con los que quieras trabajar y consigue una bolsita plástica o un pedazo de plástico para envolver.

Then, choose the colors you want to work with and get a little plastic bag or some wrapping plastic.

Luego, empieza a pintar espacios de distintos tamaños con los colores que elegiste.

Then, start painting spaces of different sizes with the colors you chose.

      

Pega la bolsa rápidamente sobre la uña con la pintura fresca y muévela para mover la pintura.

Put the plastic bag on top of the wet polish and move it around to move the paint.

Repite el procedimiento con todas las uñas y asegúrate de limpiar la piel alrededor de las uñas.

Repeat the procedure with all your nails and make sure to clean the skin around them.

¡Y listo! Una manera diferente de obtener uñas tipo acuarela :)

And there you go! A different wat to make the watercolor nails :)

WATERCOLOR - Part 1 (ACETONE)

¿No les encantan las acuarelas? ¡A mi si! Y me gustan aún más cuando ni siquiera se nota la diferencia entre un bloque de un color y otro. Así que este es el primer tutorial con una de las tres técnicas inspiradas en ese look "sin fronteras" que les enseñaré a hacer. ¡Dejen sus comentarios y estén pendientes del tutorial de mañana con la segunda técnica! :)

Don't you love watercolors? I do! Especially when you can't even you notice where one color ends and the other starts. So this is the first tutorial with one of the three "borderless watercolor" techniques I'm going to show you. Leave your comments and keep up with NatioNails for tomorrow's tutorial! :)

Empieza con unas uñas blancas. ¡Es necesario que apliques una top coat transparente!

Start by painting your nails white. And it will be necessary to apply a clear top coat!

Luego, toma uno de los colores que escogiste y pon unas gotas medianas en tu uña.

Then, take one of the colors you chose and put some medium sized drops on your nail.

Moja un pincel en un poco de acetona y ponlo en el centro de la gota del color. Luego utiliza el pincel para esparcir el color en ese espacio. Repite estos dos pasos con los otros colores.

Intenta no utilizar mucha acetona, ya que de lo contrario despintaras la capa blanca que está debajo.

Dip a small brush on some acetone and put it on the center of the polish drop. Then, use the brush to spread the color on that space. Repeat these two steps with the other colors.

Try not to use too much acetone, or else you might wash away the white base coat.

Aplica otra capa de top coat transparente ¡y listo! Uñas tipo acuarela :)

Apply another coat of clear top coat and there you go! Watercolor-like nails :)

PEPPA PIG

Soy de la opinión que cualquier celebración es motivo de un nail art nuevo, así que por el tercer cumpleaños de mi sobrina decidí hacerme unas uñas de su personaje favorito: ¡Peppa Pig!

I'm one to think that any celebration is a good motive to create a new nail art, so, to celebrate my little niece's third birthday I made a nail art of her favorite character: Peppa Pig!

Empieza pintando dos uñas blancas y pinta el resto rosa.

Start by painting two nails white and the rest pink.

En las uñas blancas dibuja la forma de las cabezas de Peppa y George.

On the white nails draw the shapes of the heads of Peppa and George.

Luego, pinta la camisa roja de Peppa de color rojo y la de George celeste.

Then, paint Peppa's red shirt and George's light blue shirt.

Repasa sus camisas y sus cabezas y dibuja sus hocicos y naricitas. Usa uno o dos tonos más oscuros de rosa, rojo y azul para esto.

Outline their heads and shirts and draw their snouts and noses. Use some darker shades of pink, red and blue for this.

Dibuja sus chapitas, bocas y ojitos y aplica una top coat y ¡listo! :) ¡oink!

Draw their blush, mouths and eyes and apply some clear top coat and you're all set! :) oink!

WATER DROPLETS/DIY Matte Top Coat

¿Quién no quiere el rocío de la mañana en sus manos? ¿O las gotas de lluvia? ¿O las lágrimas de nuestros enemigos? ¡Jajajaja! Bueno, lo que sea que ustedes prefieran tener en tus uñas, pero aquí les traigo el tutorial para crear este look :)

Who doesn't want dew on their hands? Or raindrops? Or the tears of your enemies? Hahaha! Well, whatever you like the best, here it is the tutorial for this look :)

Empezaremos pintando nuestas uñas celestes, azules, verdes o ¡cualquier color que les guste!

We'll start by painting our nails light blue, blue, green or any color you like!

Luego será necesario aplicar una capa de brillo o top coat matizador. Esto es para que el efecto de las "gotas" se vea mejor y más fácilmente.

Si no tienen uno de estos pintauñas mate pueden darle un look mate a sus uñas acercándolas al vapor de agua. O sea, pónganlas encima, donde el vapor les pegue directamente, de una pequeña olla con agua hirviendo. Procuren no acercar sus manos mucho para evitar quemaduras :)

Then, it will be necessary to apply a coat of clear mattifier or matte top coat. This is so the "waterdrops" effect looks better.

If you don't have a matte polish you can make your nails look like these by putting them close to water steam. This means, put a little pot with some water on the stove, and when its boiling, put your nails on top of it where the steam will directly hit them. Try not to put them too close to avoid getting burned :)

Luego, con el pincel del pintauñas, aplica gotas de brillo o top coat de secado rápido para crear las gotas de agua. Alterna los tamaños para que se vean como de verdad.

Si pones gotas muy espesas de brillo este tardará mucho en secarse, pero si aplicas muy poco brillo no se verá el efecto "3D", así que pon una cantidad intermedia.

Then, with the nail polish brush, apply clear polish or top coat drops to create the water drops. Vary the sizes so they look real.

If you put too much clear polish it will take too long to dry, but if you apply too little it won't have the "3D" effect, so apply an intermediate amount.

¡Y listo! Uñas con rocío :)

And there you are! Dew nail :)

QUILTED LEATHER

Este es mi primer diseño en 3D y... ¡Me encantó! Me encantó como unas cuántas capas de pintura y cinta para nail art hacen que tus uñas se vean como una obra de arte. Ve este tutorial para aprender como hacer que tus uñas se vean como cuero acolchado :)

This is my first 3D design and... I loved it! I love how a few layers of polish and some nail art tape can make your nails look like a masterpiece. Take a look at this tutorial and learn how to make your nails look like quilte leather :)

Pinta tus uñas del color que desees. Cuando tus uñas estén completamente secas (asegurate de esto o si no la cinta arrancará la pintura), pon la cinta creando un diseño intercalado de rombos.

Paint your nails of any color you like. When your nails are completely dry (make sure they are or else the tape will peel off the polish), put the tape creating a diamond shape design.

Aplica una capa gruesa de pintura del mismo color (o de cualquier otro si deseas un look mas contrastante) y retira la cinta lo más rápido que puedas para evitar que la pintura se seque y tus líneas se arruinen.

Apply a thick coat of the same polish (or another color if you want a more contrasting look) and peel off the tape as fast as you can to avoid the polish getting dry and ruining your lines.

Tus uñas se deben ver algo así.

Your nails should look like this.

Termina tu diseño con una fina capa de brillo o top coat de secado rápido.

Finish off your desing with a thin coat of clear polish or clear top coat.

GEOMETRIC BLANK SPACE

"I've got a blank space, baby..." 

Ya conocen la canción, ahora hagamos el nail art :) ¡¡una manicura con muchos espacios vacíos y mucho estilo!!

You already know the song, so now let's do the nail art :) a manicure full of blank spaces and style!!

No necesitamos más que dos o tres pintauñas, una cinta para nail art y pintauñas mate!

We don't need more than 2 or 3 nail polishes, nail art tape and clear matte top coat!

Empieza poniendo la cinta para nail art de esta manera, alternando los espacios vacíos entre tus uñas.

Start by putting the nail art tape like this, alternating the blank spaces on the  nails.

Pinta de negro algunas de éstas secciones.

Paint black some of these sections.

Luego, pinta el resto de secciones de blanco.

Then, paint the rest of the sectiones white.

Aplica un brillo mate sobre todas tus uñas y ¡listo!

Aplly some clear matte top coat on all of your nails and you're all set!

SUGAR NAILS

¡Las uñas más dulces que alguna vez verás! Si aún no has entendido de que trata este nail art te lo explico: azúcar. ¡Si! ¡Uñas con azúcar! Súper dulces ;)

Sweetest nails ever! If you haven't figured out what this nail art is about here it is: sugar. Yes! Sugar nails! Super sweet ;)

Empezaremos aplicando una capa del color que ustedes prefieran. Yo decidí usar amarillo pastel porque creo que los colores claros le terminan de dar ese toque "dulce" a este nail art :)

Let's start by applying a base coat of any color you want. I decided to use pastel yellow because I feel light colors add and extra "sweetness" to the nail art :)

Luego, echa una cucharada o dos de azúcar en un papel.

Then, put a spoonful or two of sugar in a piece of paper.

         

Aplica una capa de brillo o top coat a tus uñas y, rápidamente para evitar que se seque, moja tu uña fresca en el montoncito de azúcar, asegurándote que cubra toda la uña.

Apply some clear nail polish or top coat to your nails and, quickly to avoid your nails getting dry, dip them into the pile of sugar, making sure it covers the whole nail.

Apply some top coat or clear polish to avoid washing the sugar off and you're all set!
