Christmas Season: FRENCH SANTA

Y aquí viene un último tutorial antes de la Navidad! Un french muy navideño para las que aún están en casa o para las que deseen unas uñas de Santa para amanecer mañana :) ¡FELICES FIESTAS A TODOS!

And here's one last tutorial just before Christmas! A very christmasy french nail art for the ones who are still at home or for the ones who wanna wake up with a Santa themed manicure ;) HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYBODY!

Empezaremos dibujando nuestro Santa Claus siguiendo estos simples pasos.

We'll start drawing our Santa Claus following these simple steps.

Luego, con un palito, dibuja sus ojos y su nariz y aplica brillo.

Then, with a toothpick, draw his eyes and nose and apply clear top coat.

Pon cinta para nail art en tus uñas y pintalas de blanco. Luego pinta diagonales rojas y aplica más brillo.

Put nail art tape on your nails and paint them white. Then, paint red diagonal lines and apply some more clear top coat.

¡Y listo! Un nail art divino :)

And there you go! A super cute nail art :)

Christmas Season: SUGAR SPUN

¡Y continuamos con el nail art navideño! Esta vez el turno de una técnica nueva que les traigo llamada SUGAR SPUN, que no es más que pintauñas chicloso y casi seco que pusimos en un papel. Inspirate con este tutorial para hacer tu propio nail art navideño :)

And we continue with the christmas nail art! This time is the turn for a new technique I'll show you called SUGAR SPUN, that's not more than sticky and almost dry nail polish we put on a piece of paper. Get inspired with this tutorial and do your own christmas nail art :)

Empieza pintando tus uñas con una base blanca.

Start by painting your nails with a white base.

Echa un poco de pintauñas rojo en una hoja de papel y dejalo secar por unos 5min hasta que la pintura esté "chiclosa".

Drop some red nail polish on a piece of paper and let it dry for 5min until the paint is "sticky".

Cuando la pintura este chiclosa toma un puntero o un palillo y metela en el charquito de pintura. Empieza a pasar el puntero por encima de tu uña jalando la pintura y haciendo líneas. 

When the polish is sticky take a pointer or a toothpick and dip it on the polish puddle. Start passing the pointer over your nail pulling the polish and making lines. 

Luego, con un pincel, dibuja una moñita de regalo en tu uña anular.

Then, with a brush, draw a little red bow on your ring finger.

Christmas Season: GREEN CANDY CANE

¿Listas para más nail art navideño? Ahora es el turno de los bastoncitos de dulce de ser los protagonistas de nuestra manicura! Para esto utilizaremos la técnica de water marble para crear ese efecto de dulce a nuestras uñas.

Ready for more Christmas nail art? Now's the turn for the candy canes to be the stars of our manicure! For this look we'll use the water marble technique to create that candy effect on our nails.

Empecemos con una capa base color blanco y aplicando goma líquida alrededor de nuestras uñas para evitar un desastre de pintauñas.

Start with a white base coat and apply liquid glue around your nails to avoid a nail polish mess all over your fingers.

Echa varias gotas de pintauñas color verde y rojo en un vaso con agua para crear tu diseño water marble (mira mi tutorial anterior para saber como hacerlo Water Marble )

Drop several drops of green and red nail polish on a cup with water to create your water marble design (take a look at my previous tutorial to learn how to Water Marble )

Crea el diseño que más te guste en el agua y ¡mete tus dedos!

Create a design you like on the water and dip your fingers!

Luego pinta un bastoncito de dulce en la uña blanca y decoralo con los colores verde y rojo.

Then paint a candy cane on the white nail and decorate it with green and red.

                   

Christmas Season: SNOWFLAKES

¡Y comenzó la época más linda del año! ¡La Navidad! Y para tener todos los detalles cubiertos, desde nuestro arbolito y las lucecitas hasta nuestras uñas, aquí les traigo la primera de varias propuestas de nail art para esta temporada navideña :)

And the most wonderful time of the year is here! Christmas! And to have all the details covered up, from the Christmas tree and the twinkling lights to our nails, I'll show you the first of several Christmas nail art proposals :)

Empezaremos pintando nuestras uñas de blanco y aplicando un poco de goma líquida alrededor para evitar limpiar un gran desastre.

Let's start by painting our nails white and applying some liquid glue around them to avoid cleaning up a big mess.

           

Para nuestro copo de nieve  tomaremos cinta para nail art y formaremos un copo siguiendo estos pasos.

For our snow flake we'll use some nail art tape and shape it following these steps.

Luego, toma tu esponja y pintala con azul, celeste y blanco. Luego pinta tus uñas con ella como lo hemos hecho en otros tutoriales. 

Then, grab your sponge and paint it blue, light blue and white. Then paint your nails with it like we've done in other tutorials.

Luego, con mucho cuidado, arranca la goma de alrededor de tus uñas y las tiras de la cinta de tu uña. Aplica un poco de brillo y ¡listo!

Then, very carefully, remove the glue around your nails and the tape from your nail. Then apply some shiny top coat and you're all set!

Luego dibuja algunos puntos blancos que parezcan nieve y uno o dos copos de nieve a mano alzada. Aplica brillo y listo! Jo jo jo!

Then draw some white dots to make them look like snow and one or two free hand drawn snow flakes. Apply some top coat and it's done! Ho ho ho!
