Siempre había querido probar el "water marble" o "uñas marmoleadas" así que utilicé dos tonos diferentes del color de reto para hoy, el azul, para hacer mi primer marmoleado :) es una técnica un poco complicada de lograr pero no podemos negar que se ve increíble!
Me di cuenta que lo más complicado de esta técnica no es el proceso, ya que solo se deben echar gotas de dos pintauñas diferentes en un poco de agua, sino encontrar dos pintauñas que trabajen bien el uno con el otro.
Es necesario que tengan dos o más pintauñas bastante "ligeros" o acuosos (de esos que necesitan varias capas porque son bastante líquidos) y que tampoco sean de esos taaaan baratos y que huelen mucho, ya que éstos pintauñas tienen ciertos ingredientes que hacen que se sequen a una velocidad distinta a los otros.
Espero les guste mi tutorial y lo intenten también ustedes! No se preocupen si no les sale a la primera, incluso a mi me tocó repetirlo varias veces :)
I've always wanted to try the "water marble" design, so I used two different shades of today's challenge color, blue, to do my first marbling :) this is a mildly complicated technique but we can't deny it looks awesome!
I realized it's not the technique that's complicated, because it's just adding some drops of two or more colors on a little water, but mostly finding to nail polish that work well with each other.
It's necessary to have two or more "light" or watery polishes (the kind which require several coats because they're very liquid), and that they are not the kind that smell really strong, because those have certain kind of ingredients that make the velocity they dry different from the others.
I hope you like my tutorial and that you try it youselves! Don't worry if it doesn't turn out good at first, even I had to repeat it a lot of times :)
Empezaremos con un recipiente pequeño con agua a temperatura ambiente. Tomen uno de sus colores y echen una gota en el agua. Continúen echando gotas alternando los colores y procurando que cada una caiga en el centro del círculo anterior.
We'll start filling a little cup with room temperature water. Take one of your polished and put a drop of it on the center of the cup. Continue putting drops alterning the colors and making sure each drop falls on the middle of the previous one.
Después de cierta cantidad de gotas su vasito se verá como en la primera imagen. Luego, con un palillo, empiecen a crear su diseño jalando el color de la orilla hacia el centro del círculo.
After dropping a certain amount of polish your cup will look like on the first picture. Then, with a toothpick, start creating your design by pulling some of the color on the edge to the center of the circle.
¡Y ahora viene la parte divertida! Antes de empezar les recomiendo usar el tip que les di ayer y que apliquen goma líquida en todo el alrededor de su uña y prácticamente todo su dedo ya que ¡se mancharan mucho!
Procuren que la pintura no lleve mucho tiempo en el agua, ya que de lo contrario esta se secará y hará que su diseño no se adhiera a la uña.
Elige la parte del diseño que más te guste y pon tu uña sobre el, metiendo el dedo al agua. Luego, con el dedo aún dentro del agua, toma el palillo y utilízalo para quitar toda la pintura que haya quedado en el agua. Después saca el dedo y retira la goma con la pintura que se pegó. Utiliza un hisopo con acetona para limpiar los residuos y ¡listo! :)
And here comes the fun part! Before you start I recommend you use the tip I gave you yesterday and apply some liquid glue around your fingernail and basically all you finger because you'll definetly get all messed up!
Make sure the polish hasn't been in the water for too long because otherwise it won't adhere to your nail.
Choose the part of the design you like the best and put your finger on top of it, pushing it all the way inside the water. Then, with your finger still inside the water, take the toothpick and use it to take away all the residual paint that's still in the water. Then take out your finger and remove all the glue with the stuck paint on it. Use a q-tip soaked with nail polish remover to clean up :)
No se desesperen si no les sale a la primera. Yo probé muchas veces hasta que obtuve un resultado que me gustó, pero se que aún se puede mejorar mucho más. Las invito a que también lo pruebe ustedes y que también se unan al reto de 31 días. ¡Mucha suerte y paciencia! :)
Don't quit if it doesn't work at first. I tried it a lot of times until I obtained a result I liked, but I know it can still get a lot better. I invite you to try it yourselves and that you join the 31day challenge too! Lots of luck and patience! :)
