#31DC2014 : Galaxies

                                                     

Hoy es el día 19 del reto y es el día de galaxias! Las galaxias siempre son un poco difíciles de hacer ya que involucran muchos colores y muchas esponjas, así que espero que este tutorial les ayude un poco por si algún día deciden hacerlas.

Today's the 19th day of the challenge and it's the galaxy day! Galaxies are always hard to do because you need a lot of colors and sponging, so I hope this tutorial will help you a lot.

Primero que todo, antes de empezar me di cuenta que este nail art involucra lo más difícil para remover: pintura negra y brillantina. 

Yo se lo complicado que es limpiar las uñas cuando se tienen estos colores, es por eso que les dejo este tip: antes de pintar sus uñas apliquen una capa de goma líquida sobre ellas y esperen a que la goma se seque para pintar la base negra. Esto hará que al momento de despintarlas solo tengan que empujar el color negro desde una orilla y todo lo demás se despegará fácilmente, evitando los desastres y las manos sucias después :)

First of all, before starting I realized that this nail art involved the hardest polishes to remove: black and glittery.

I know how complicated is to clean these colors, and that's why I'll give you this tip: before painting your nails apply some liquid glue on them and wait until they're dry to apply the black coat, then when you want to take the color off just push one of the corners of your nails and avoid the mess and the dirty nails :)

Empecé aplicando un poco de azul con una esponja en algunas partes de mi uña. Luego continué utilizando la esponja y más colores de la misma manera hasta que obtuve algo como en la terecera foto.

I started by applying some blue to parts of my nails with a sponge. Then I kept using the same technique with more colors until I obtained something that looked like the third picture.

Continué con algunos detalles más, como la Vía Láctea y algunas estrellas.

I also continued with some more details like the Milky Way and some starts.

Apliquen brillantina en algunos lugares y ¡listo! :)

Apply some glitter on random places and you're all set! :)

#31DC2014 : Half Moons

                               

¿Medias lunas? ¡Nunca había oído de eso! Así que hice mi mejor esfuerzo y use solo materiales que tenía disponibles: maskin tape, un abre hoyos y tres pintauñas diferentes. Olviden los stickers especiales con forma circular y las manicuras complicadas, ¡este nail art es súper fácil y elegante!

Half moons? I've never heard of that! That's why I made my best effort and used only materials I had nearby: maskin tape, a holepuncher and three different nail polishes. Forget the fancy special circular shaped stickers and complicated manicures, this nail art is super easy and elegant!

     

Empecé con una base en dos tonos diferentes de rosado, y para las medias lunas tome un trozo de maskin tape y lo perforé con un abre hoyos.

I started with two different shades of pink as a base and, for the half moons, I took a piece of maskin tape and punched it with a hole puncher.

Pegué los círculo de tape sobre mis uñas (utilicé más de uno en algunas) y pinté sobre ellos y la uña para agregarle otro tono.

I put the tape circules on my nails (I used more than one on some) and then painted over them and the and the nail to add another color.

#31DC2014 : Geometric and Glitter Nails

No se si lo notaron (y espero que el no haber visto un post nuevo el día de ayer los haya hecho sentir tristes :) ) pero no pude subir un nuevo tutorial, es por eso que hoy les traigo un 2 en 1! Una manicura geométrica con un toque muy brillante.

I don't know if you noticed (and I hope that not seeing a new post yesterday made you feel a little sad :) ) but I couldn't upload any new tutorials, that's why today I bring you a 2 in 1 manicure! A geometric and glittery nail art.

¡NAIL ART FACILÍSMO! Empiecen con una capa base de blanco, sobre la cual pegaran cinta para nail art al estar seca. Esperen a que la pintura esté completamente cerca para evitar arrancar la pintura cuando quiten la cinta.

SUPER EASY NAIL ART! Start with a white base coat on which you'll put nail art tape when it's dry. Wait until the polish is completely dry to avoid tearing up the white when you remove the tape.

Escoge tres colores que te gusten, o que sean de la misma tonalidad, y pinta los espacios que quedaron con la cinta. Luego, con mucho cuidado y lentamente, quita la cinta y aplica una top coat con brillantina para sellarlo todo.

Choose three colors you like, or that are that have a similar tone, and paint the spaces you just created with the tape. Then, very slowly and carefully, pull the tape and apply a glittery nail polish or top coat to seal it all.

#31DC2014 : Delicate Print

Nunca había hecho un nail art "delicado", pero cuando oigo esa palabra lo primero que se me viene a la mente es lo delicado del encaje, así que este tutorial es para enseñarles como hacer un encaje muy fácil en sus uñas.

I had never donde a "delicate" nail art, but the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear that word is the delicate lace, so this tutorial is made to show you how to make easy lace on your nails.

Empecé pintando una diagonal sobre el color base.

I started by painting a diagonal on top of the base color.

Luego, con el pincel del pinta uñas, pinté círculos en la orilla de la diagonal para hacerlo ver como tela.

Then, with the nail polish's brush, I painted circles on the edge of the diagonal to make it look like ral fabric.

Con su puntero pinten un punto del mismo culero de su base en el centro de cada círculo.

With your pointer make a dot of the same color of your base on the center of each circle.

Uñas delicadamente lindas :)

#31DC2014 : Animal Print

El reto del día de hoy era crear un nail art de animal print, pero no quise hacer lo usual de leopardo o tigre, sino que supuse que las plumas también son animal print, ¿no? :) hice plumas en todas mis uñas y, en mi opinión, ¡se ven divinas! Espero les guste el nail art y el tutorial e intenten hacerlo en sus casas :)

Today's challenge was to create an animal print nail art, but I didn't want to do the usual leopard or tiger print, instead I assumed that feathers are also an animal print, right? :) I made feathers on all my nails and, in my opinion, they look great! I hope you like the nail art and the tutorial and that you try it at home :)

    

Empecé con una base color verde. Luego pinte una línea curva negra en medio de mi uña, a la que le fui agregando más líneas curvas a un lado. Luego hice más líneas curvas, pero ahora de color blanco, del otro lado de las negras.

I started with a green base coat. Then I painted a curvy black line on the center of the nail and added some more curvy black lines to the side of the main line. Then I painted some more curvy lines, but now white, to the other side of the black ones.

Sellé todo con una capa de brillo matificador y lo dejé secar.

I sealed it all with a matte clear top coat and let it dry.

Pinté con pinta uñas con brillantina la línea divisoria entre ambos colores y ¡listo! Uñas súper rápidas :)

I painted the divisory line with glitter nail polish and I was all done! Super quick nails :)

#31DC2014 : Stripes

           

                                              

Con tantas tareas, cuadernos y notas para estudiar que tengo no me costó mucho inspirarme para el nail art del día de hoy... ¡RAYAS! Creo que no hay nada más abundante en nuestras mochilas y escritorios que hojas con rayas azules y margen rojo, y es por eso que esta manicura está inspirada en ellas :)

With so much homework, notebooks and study notes I have I didn't have to go too far for today's nail art inspiration... STRIPES! I think there's nothing more abundant in our backpacks and desks than white paper sheets with blue and red stripes, and that's why today's manicure is inspired on them :)

Esta es una manicura super rápida de 4 pasos:

This is a super easy manicure in 4 steps:

Paso 1: 

Pinta todas tus uñas de color blanco.

Step 1:

Paint all your nails white.

Paso 2: 

Toma un pincel para nail art y pinta delgadas lineas celestes horizontales en tus uñas.

Step 2: 

With a nail art brush paint clear blue horizontal lines on your nails.

Paso 3: 

Limpia el pincel y pinta una línea roja vertical en cada uña.

Step 3:

Clean the brush and paint a single red vertical line on each nail.

Paso 4: 

Pinta algunos detalles en negro en tus uñas (como letras, una calificación o un pequeño dibujo/garabato) que las hagan ver como hojas de verdad.

Step 4:

Paint some black details on your nails (like letters, a grade or a small drawing/scribble) to make them look like real sheets.

Aplica una capa de brillo o matificador (para darle el toque mate del papel) y ¡listo! :)

Apply a layer of clear top coat or matte top coat (to give them that matte paper look) and you're all done! :)

#31DC2014 : Polka Dots

¿Qué es en lo primero que piensan cuando les dicen "polka dots"? Pues lo primero que se me viene a la mente es el clásico vestido rojo con puntos blancos de Minnie Mouse! Este nail art esta inspirada en esta ratoncita y su vestido, espero les guste! :)

What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you think "polka dots"? Well the fist thing I think about is Minnie Mouse's red and white dress! So this nail art is inspired in this little mouse and her dress, I hope you like it! :)

Empezamos pintando algunas de nuestras uñas rojas, y en otras dibujaremos una cabeza de ratón.

Let's start by painting some nails red and in the other we'll draw mice heads.

Pinta alguno puntos blancos sobre las uñas rojas para crear el vestido de Minnie.

Paint some white dots on the red nails to create Minnie's dress.

Luego pinta moñas rojas sobre las cabezas de ratón y pinta algunos puntos blancos sobre el.

Then paint a red bow ove the mouse head and paint some white dots on it.
